People. Art and culture is about people. We believe everyone has the capacity to be creative. Gathering stories and feedback are essential for our success. We recognise the importance of empathising with, and embracing diverse viewpoints, testing new ideas with others, and learning from unfamiliar perspectives.
Collaboration. Different points of view are key in creating newness. We bring together cultural producers and art practitioners from various fields, perspectives, and backgrounds to overlap and intersect. Our toolkit, approaches and methods of working are a shared language for our community.
Research. Our work begins with an acute awareness of our tangible and intangible urban environment. It involves being present in the moment, re-framing what we see, and finding patterns in information and common experience. A light-bulb design solution comes from multiple places, and has many different forms. We rely on our research to make sense of information, find insight and opportunity.
