About Us

Neighborhood is a curatorial collective that resides in Singapore. Our curatorial practice focuses on commissioning within the urban context of the global city. We bring together artists, designers and creative practitioners with local communities and organisations to create new narrative environments, experiences and events of public value.

Since 2018, we have been commissioned to present innovative and meaningful public art projects with hundreds of artists across Singapore. From a youth-centred pop-up in a bustling residential estate to the country's first mall-wide art activation, we are committed to showcasing art that responds to our ever-changing times and engages with a broad audience beyond racial and socioeconomic barriers.

Services

Curation & Cultural programming

Our curatorial endeavours have transformed underused public spaces and the built environment with art and culture at their heart. Our guerilla approach surprises, connects and engages with broad demographics. Our sites have become lifestyle destinations that invite visitors to discover, participate in activities, and enjoy new facilities.

Digital Content creation

Our experience in storytelling connects online audiences with an ever-growing community of tastemakers and key opinion leaders in Singapore and around the region. From skilled copywriting to art-directed video productions, we are adept at creating world-class content for a diverse range of brand voices.

Community Art Education

Our learning programme includes intimate workshops, engaging panel discussions and walking tours. We often develop custom activities in partnership with primary schools and academic organisations to share knowledge and to reach those who may not have previously participated in the arts.
